Tonight’s chat was a wrap of of this past Bloggiesta! We chatted about what we accomplished, what we were motivated to accomplish in the future, and what we learned from this Bloggiesta. You can check out #bloggiesta on Twitter to see the whole chat, but here are a few highlights:
Let’s talk about our progress! What did you accomplish this past weekend? What did you cross off your to do list??
Everyone made so much progress! Is there anything you DIDN’T get done? Anything we can still help with?
Did you complete any mini challenges?? Which ones? Any you want to try in the future? (I think almost everyone in the chat answered this question by talking about bullet journals!)
Do you have any ideas for future Bloggiestas?
We love hosting this event and we can’t wait until next time! Bloggiesta went by so fast! Thank you all for joining us!
And…THE END! At the end of today another Bloggiesta will bite the dust! Here’s hoping everyone accomplished a lot and learned new things!
If you’d like to write a wrap up post or simply link up to your crossed off To Do Lists, you can share here in this linky.
Thanks for participating! Thanks to all the mini challenge hosts! And to our Twitters hosts! This event would not have happened without you. You are awesome!
Let us know in the comments if you have suggestions for mini challenges or future events. We’d love to get your feedback.
Congratulations for finishing yet another Bloggiesta! If anyone wants to write a wrap up post with all the things they’ve accomplished and link it up, you can do that here.
Thanks again for participating! Mark your calendars for March 21 to 27 for our week long Spring Bloggiesta!
Okay, time to tell us what you think! Please fill out the survey and give it to us!
We had our final chat on Sunday afternoon. Everyone took a moment to say what they’d accomplished this bloggiesta which ranged from scheduling reviews to switching to MailChimp. Lots of participants took advantage of the mini challenges and seemed to really enjoy them. Thanks again to those who hosted!
Much of the time was spent soliciting ideas for future mini challenges. We came up with this list:
- FTP for backing up your blog
- making a calendar/spreadsheet of book releases and ARCs
- MailChimp tutorial
- what does your host do? (Help for self hosted bloggers.)
- Tumblr: do we want one? Do we need one? Please, someone explain!
- all about giveaways and Rafflecopter
- How to make your blog Pinterest friendly
- social media strategies
Some suggestions for future Bloggiestas:
- more week long ones
- a month long one with themed weeks
- setting up blogging buddies during Bloggiesta
- having a blog critique or peer review session
- release challenges slowly over the course of the week/month instead of all at once
- brainstorm to do lists with other participants pre-event
- have achievement badges
- keep up the recaps!
Dates for next year (subject to change) were announced:
- Winter Mini Bloggiesta: January 16 and 17
- Spring Week Long Bloggiesta: March 21 to 27
- Summer Mini Bloggiesta: June 18 to 19
- Fall Bloggiesta: September 15 to 18
Maybe we’ll make the fall one a week long too. I’m not sure about a month long event at this point. Will ponder!
If you have any other suggestions or ideas, please comment here. Also, we’ll post a simple feedback survey form very soon. Thank you to everyone for participating!
Time to wrap up another one! Here’s hoping everyone accomplished a lot and learned new things!

Thanks for participating! Let us know in the comments if you have suggestions for mini challenges or future events. There’ll be a survey up in the next few days. We’d love to get your feedback.
And… we’re done! I hope you all managed to get tons accomplished on your blogs! If you’d like to share your progress or your crossed of To Do Lists, link up below.
Also, mark your calendars for the next Bloggiesta event. It will be September 17 to 20. (This is a change from originally advertised. Make sure you have it right!) I’ll be looking for mini challenges starting in August, so if you are interested, be thinking now and we’ll talk then!
Have a great rest of the summer and do lots of blogging!
Please take a moment to let us know how your Bloggiesta experience shaped up this time around and if you have any suggestions for improvement. Thanks!
Our first week long Bloggiesta has come to an end! That was quick! What did you all think? Was it worth it? Did you get a ton done? I hope so and I hope you all had a great time doing it!
If you’d like to write and share your wrap up posts, or your updated To Do Lists, sign up in the linky below. We’ll also post a simple feedback form in the next day or two so we can learn more about your feelings on this event. If you have ideas for future mini challenges, you can let us know there.
The dates for Bloggiesta events for the rest of this year have changed slightly from previously advertised. We’ve bumped both up one week. Which means, the Summer Mini Bloggiesta will be June 13 and 14 and the Fall Bloggiesta will be September 17 through 20. Mark your calendars!
Thanks so much for participating!
Another Bloggiesta bites the dust! Wow, that was a fast weekend. I hope you all managed to get tons done on your blogs! If you’d like to share your progress or your crossed of To Do Lists, link up below.
Also, mark your calendars for the next Bloggiesta event. It’s only two months away! It will be one week long from March 23 to 29. I’d like to start soliciting for mini challenge hosts right now! If you are interested, send me an email at bloggiesta at gmail.
I won’t have an official feedback survey for this past mini Bloggiesta, but I’d love to know if you enjoyed having it on this particular weekend (which included a holiday for many of us.) Let me know in comments what you thought. Or if you have any other suggestions or ideas for Bloggiesta in general.
Thanks! Happy Blogging!
