Winter 2016 Mini Bloggiesta Mini Challenges

 

Since it’s a MINI Bloggiesta this time around, we only have a small list of mini challenges, but they are all awesome. Be sure to give our challenge hosts lots of love!

Winter 2016 Mini Bloggiesta Sign Ups

Now is the time to let us know if you plan to participate with us this coming weekend (January 16 and 17) for the Winter 2016 Mini Bloggiesta!  And it’s very simple: This next week, write up your To Do List, post it on your blog, then come back here and link it up!

Start putting your blogging resolutions into practice and take this weekend to do some much needed blog maintenance. If you can’t think of anything to do, some ideas for a basic to do list can be found at this link. You are welcome to copy it and use it however you see fit.

We have several mini challenges lined up and ready to go. Be sure to check back here on Friday for the list. In the meantime, you can check out these past Mini Challenges from previous events and see if any of them strike your fancy.

There will be one Twitter chat on Sunday January 17 at 2 pm Eastern. We hope to “see” you there!

The “official” event will just be the weekend, but for some of us, it’s a holiday weekend and we’ll be lucky enough to have Monday off! If this is you… feel free to think of it as a bonus day and keep right on bloggiesta-ing!

Summer 2015 Mini Bloggiesta Starts Now!

Let’s get this Mini Bloggiesta weekend started!

HOW TO PARTY

  • Bloggiesta begins now and runs through Sunday night… wherever you are. We don’t have specific starting and ending times…. just Saturday June 13 through  Sunday, June 14… wherever and whenever you are in the world!
  • Plan to spend as much time as you can working on your to do list and completing PAST mini challenges. (Since we don’t have knew ones this go around.) Don’t worry about having the entire weekend to devote to this, but do challenge yourself to put in some good hours to the project. The theme for this mini event is “Back to the Basics!” If you accomplish some simple basic blogging housekeeping tasks, you are doing it right!
  • Feel free to update your progress any way you see fit. You can just cross things off your list, or write an update posts. We will have a Finish Line Post link up here on Sunday for anyone wishing to link up their summary posts (or crossed off lists.)

HOW TO CONNECT

  • Much of our connection with each other will be happening on Twitter. Be sure to follow @Bloggiesta and the hashtag #bloggiesta.
  • We’ll have just one Twitter chat this weekend on Sunday June 14 at 3 pm Eastern. Join us. Chats are a blast!
  • Also, plan to do lots of blog hopping by clicking on participants links (See the sign up links here.) Send lots of encouragement everyone’s way and help out with your expertise on all bloggish things! This is a big part of the whole idea of Bloggiesta!

January 2015 Mini Bloggiesta Finish Line


Another Bloggiesta bites the dust! Wow, that was a fast weekend. I hope you all managed to get tons done on your blogs! If you’d like to share your progress or your crossed of To Do Lists,  link up below.

Also, mark your calendars for the next Bloggiesta event. It’s only two months away! It will be one week long from March 23 to 29. I’d like to start soliciting for mini challenge hosts right now!  If you are interested, send me an email at bloggiesta at gmail.

I won’t have an official feedback survey for this past mini Bloggiesta, but I’d love to know if you enjoyed having it on this particular weekend (which included a holiday for many of us.) Let’s get this Mini Bloggiesta weekend started!

Here’s a few things to remember about the way Bloggiesta works.

HOW TO PARTY

  • Bloggiesta begins now and runs through Monday night… wherever you are. We don’t have specific starting and ending times…. just Saturday January 17 through Monday January 19… wherever and whenever you are in the world! (We are counting Monday in the weekend this time since many US participants have that day off for a holiday!)
  • Plan to spend as much time as you can working on your to do list and completing mini challenges. Don’t worry about having the entire weekend to devote to this, but do challenge yourself to put in some good hours to the project.
  • Feel free to update your progress any way you see fit. You can just cross things off your list, or write a couple of update posts. We will have a Finish Line Post link up here on Monday for anyone wishing to link up their summary posts (or crossed off lists.)
